M’Boss Dor, exceptional site is a 5 ha private island lost in the mangrove swamp next to Sine Saloum National Park in the Palmarin community reserve.
General Description
It’s a very natural small island, ideal for a quiet stay. You’ll come to us for the change of scenary, the observation of birds. If you’re lucky, you may even see spotted hyenas, jackals, servals, water mongooses, vervet monkeys, varanus, animals which we regulary see but that know how to be discret. An island… lost between sky and mangrove, wild, intimist, sophisticated, full of spell.
Accommodation
Behind the beach, three wooden double bungalows of 20 m2 with bathroom, toilet and an 8 m2 terrace A big hut (70 m2) with a mezzanine overlooking the mangrove swamp in which, welcome you Edith and Frédérick. A bar and terrace where the meals for residents are served .
Amenities & Services
Swimming in the bolon, fishing – Canoes are available to go wandering through the mangrove swamp, watching the birds, picking cockles or mangrove oysters.
Fishing – Walking through the bush With charge: Renting of pirogues for deep-sea fishing (barracudas, red carps, umbras…) – Flight on ultralight from our private runway .
Various outings: Visit of Joal Fadiouth, N’Gueniene market, mass at Mar Lodge.
