  1. DAY 1: ARRIVAL-BAMAKO, MALI

    Upon arrival in Bamako, you will be met, assisted, and transferred to your hotel.
    Your guide will brief you on the exciting activities that await you in Mali

  2. DAY 2: BAMAKO CITY TOUR

    City tour of Bamako: Experience an overview of Bamako from Point G, known as the Hill of Health, offering panoramic views of the city.

    Visit the National Museum, which provides an excellent introduction to the rich ethnic diversity of Mali.

    Explore the craft bazaar, where you will find sculptors, hand-woven fabrics, handmade grass goods, leather workers, metal workers, and other artisans displaying their skills and wares. One section of the market is dedicated entirely to traditional African medicines, where you will find fascinating and unusual items used in local healing practices.

    Spend time at the handcraft center, where bargains abound on unique handmade goods.

    Drive through the city, observing monuments dedicated to Malian historical figures.

  3. DAY 3: BAMAKO-SIBY-BAMAKO

    After breakfast drive to Siby on its weekly market day. Siby is a Malinké village where Soundjata Keitta, founder of the Malian Empire, was welcomed back from exile and where he prepared the Mande liberation from the Sosso Empire of Soumangourou Kante.

    In Siby, you will learn about the history of Soundjata Keita, the legendary former king of the ancient Malian Empire. Several Malian ethnic groups, including Dogon, Bambara, Malinke, Kassonke, Minianka, Senoufo, and Bobo, originate from this area.

    Proceed to visit the Arch of Kamandjan and the local market of Siby. After the tour of Siby, have lunch in Siby then continue to Kirina where you will attend a Mandingo choreographed traditional dance.

    Kirina is the city where the battle between Soundjata Keita and Soumangourou Kante started and ended in Koulikoro, 60 km from Bamako, where Soumangourou escaped from Soundjata’s pursuit.

    Return to Bamako for overnight.

  4. DAY 4: BAMAKO -DEPART

    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore on your own.

    You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
