Our 11-day-long tour starts in Arusha. Following a sumptuous breakfast, we head to a small village on the slopes of Mt. Meru, where we visit a local school and get an immersive experience of the local culture. You can then enjoy a traditional Tanzanian lunch at a family home before heading into the forest in search of a black and white Colobus monkey, as well as other indigenous species.

From Mt. Meru, we head to Lake Manyara, which is home to unique birdlife like pelicans, storks, and even flamingos! Additionally, there is a hippo pool where wild hippos live. The next stop is Lake Eyasi in the Great Rift Valley. This part of the trip is like turning back time because the native Hadza people are hunter-gatherers who still live an ancient way of life.
