Day 1 MAPUTO, MOZAMBIQUE
Arrive Maputo; meet assist and transfer to the hotel.

Overnight at Hotel Cardoso or Similar
Day 2 BEIRA
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Beira. Upon arrival you will be met, assisted, and transferred to the Chintengo Camp. Today’s activities will include:
- En route a spectacular bird watching experience along the Mussicadzi River.
- A walking trip to the Vinho Community, just outside the park’s boundary.
- A visit to the Pungue River, with some bird watching as well as a canoe ride.
- A game drive in Gorongosa National Park.
- A visit to the Bué Maria for a relaxing view of the sunset.
- Overlooking the Pungue River, Bué Maria affords a vista of a breathtaking sunset scene, which at one point features the setting sun simmering and reflecting off the water of the river. We will offer our guests a drink as they witness this peaceful moment of nature. Afterwards return to your camp.

Overnight at Chintengo Camp or Similar
Day 3 NAMPULA/ ILHA DE MOZAMBIQUE
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Nampula. You will be met, assisted, and transferred to Ilha De Mozambique. Later your will be able to explore the city of Nampula or begin you tour of Ilha De Mozambique.

Overnight at PensĂŁo “O Escondidinho or Similar
Day 4 ILHA DE MOZAMBIQUE / MAPUTO
After breakfast depart for a tour of Ilha de Mozambique. Ilha de Mozambique (Island of Mozambique) is a small island off the coast of Maputo connected by a causeway over the water. There are ample reminders of its heyday when the island was a stop-over on the Indian spice route and a staging base for the explorations of the Portuguese. The island is still filled with ancient fortifications and interesting colonial architecture and is now designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. The majority of the residents are Muslims with a large minority of Christians and some Hindus. Each religious group has its own cemetery on the southern tip of the island.
During your tour of the island you will visit the Palace and Chapel of Sao Paolo, which is now an excellently kept museum with an interesting collection of artifacts. Other attractions include the Sao Sebastiao Fort, the Harbor and Fish Market, and the Central Mosque.
Though a small island, you could spend several days exploring the island and still not become bored.

Day 5 MAPUTO
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour of the city of Maputo. Whether you know this city as Baia das Lagoa, Delagoa Bay, Lourenzo Marques, or the current Maputo you will get to know Maputo interesting past and promising future.
Your tour will begin by travelling down Avenida Julius Nyerere, past the Five Star hotels and Embassies and then along the beachfront to the Avenida Da Marginal, the Baixa, and Downtown Maputo. Attractions will include:
- The Concelho Municipal (Municipal Buildings)
- The Casa de Ferro, “the House of Iron” which was designed by Gustav Eiffel of Eiffel Tower fame.
- The Catholic Cathedral
- The Botanical Gardens
- Louis Trichardt Trek Memorial Garden
- Mercado Municipal (Municipal Market)
- Â The Rua do Bagamoio, better known as the “Street of Sin” because of its litany of night clubs and pubs.
Afterwards, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
